Growth can be scary. Conquering new challenges, trying different things, being vulnerable in the process… Having the courage to step into what is new and different is what this is all about

Humility: the quality or condition of being humble; a modest opinion or estimate of one's own importance, rank, etc.

You can’t possibly know everything. No one does! Having the humility to admit that, model that, and be open to help is at the core of a successful partnership.

Discipline: an activity, exercise, or regimen that develops or improves a skill

Making a change once is easy. Making a change that sticks and becomes the new normal takes a level of discipline and rigor that many leaders lack. Holding yourself - and others - accountable to new behaviors is required for those new behaviors to make an impact in the organization.

Openness: the quality of being receptive to new ideas, opinions, or arguments; open-mindedness

Behavior change often stems from feedback, and being open to alternative viewpoints and perspectives is key to enacting positive change. It is also the quality that allows us to hear the best ideas, the most innovative approaches, and the most critical solutions to the gnarliest problems.
